The Temple of God

John 2: 13--16
When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. In the temple courts he found men selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money. So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple area, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. To those who sold doves he said, "Get these out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market!"

Dear sisters and brothers, Jesus went to visit his Father’s house. What he saw did not please Him. It was all mess. People have transformed the house to something else; market. They made the temple a place of their business. They filled the temple with abnormal things. Isn’t this place supposed to be kept clear and clean so the Spirit of God could move?
As I was thinking about these verses, another verse came to me from 2 Cor 6: 16.

2 Corinthians 6: 16
“…For we are the temple of the living God…”

Dear friends, do you know you are the temple of God each one of you? My questions to you are these: “In What Condition Is Your Body and Your Heart at this moment? What would Jesus see if He comes to visit you right now? What are the useless items would He see in your body and in your heart? Do you have any place in your heart so the Holy Spirit could live in you?…” I would like to encourage you to examine your life then go before the Lord and present yourself. Please do not say there is no junk in your life. Some of these junks are hidden in you. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal them to you. Be willing and ask God to help you keep your body and heart clean.

What do your sins do to you?

Here is the answer:
"Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." Isaiah 59: 1-2

Confess your sins and give your life to God today. He will forgive you and your sins would no longer be a hindrance between you and your God.

Do You Need Rest?

If yes, let me tell you that I know Someone who can give you rest. That Someone is Jesus. Here is what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
